In Vivo Model Esophageal carcinoma tumors were established in male BALB/c nude mice (4-6 wk, Laboratory Animal Central of Wuhan University) by serial subcutaneous transplantation of Eca-109 cells (1×10⁷ cells/mouse).
Result The combined effects of SIN and 5-FU on esophageal carcinoma were superior to those of the individual compounds, and the drug combination did not increase the side effects of chemotherapy.
